My name is Corinne, I'm Italian and I've been living in London for a few years. My middle name is Gaia, and so I decided to use it to represent the most creative side of me.
Speaking of creativity, this newsletter will be my outlet, as I love fashion but I don't work in the sector or in a creative field. In reality, perhaps more than fashion, I love finding clothes, shopping, dressing up and creating outfits.
Being a fairly creative person and spending a lot of time researching everything and anything (regarding clothes, shoes, bags) online, I decided to use this channel to share the fruits of this passion (obsession?) of mine. I hope it will be useful and interesting for people who love shopping but don't love searching.
I'm still not sure which format I will use, but I will certainly share many outfit ideas (check out my TikTok account @gaiaandcorinne for inspiration), my (never ending) wishlist, where to find what you might be looking for and many alternatives... happy shopping!
My weekly search
The perfect black leather tote
I have a personal battle against backpacks at work (and uni for that matter). I just think that they never work well and always ruin an outfit. The best option for me is having a great leather tote that will last forever and will never go out of style. I was looking for the perfect one, as I have a few good ones but not a sleek, simple black one. Here a list of good options - I went for the St Agni one!

Unbelievable but true, I do not own a nice, plain black mini skirt that fits me well. Time to change this.

The sequin skirt
I had been wanting a sequin skirt since last year, as seen from a super cool Italian brand called Scile’. Unfortunately, it was a limited collab and it was sold out, so no chance of getting one. I got the pink version instead last summer, but also wanted a black one. Perfect for a winter night out, with black sheer tights, sharp pointed heels, and a black long-sleeved top.
A couple of alternative options:
Art dealer 1 and 2 (now both sold out but they are ‘iconic’ for this brand, I hope they will restock them or do them again. Can probably find them used!)
